Here's where to look for the records most people ask about in Polk County:

- Court dates and traffic or criminal matters: use the Polk County Circuit Court contact path at 102 E Broadway Room 14, 417-326-4912, or polk.criminal@courts.mo.gov.
- Marriage records: contact the Polk County Recorder of Deeds, 102 East Broadway, Room #8 for written copy requests, or call 417-326-4924 for certified-copy card requests.
- Divorce records: search public case information in Case.net, then request certified copies from the Circuit Clerk.
- Probate, wills, and estates: contact the Probate Division through the Circuit Clerk at the Bolivar courthouse.
